Senior Dogs:

The “old guys and gals” have special needs and we can accommodate that. We love the seniors and they have such wisdom to teach us all about “how to live”.  We have worked with many special needs dogs including diabetics, blind dogs, those prone to seizures, pre and post-surgery dogs, paralyzed dogs, etc. Because Top Dog Country Club is a small facility with a staff ratio of 1 staff to every 5-8 dogs, we have the time to provide that special care. We do not charge extra for special feeding or administering medications.

Staff includes a veterinary technician. Staff training includes weekly education regarding medical conditions and care. We have special potty schedules for seniors, and can customize the play day to meet their needs with a mid-day nap, etc.The seniors love the play time, the staff attention, the fresh air, and the stimulation here. They love to play a little (or a lot) and watch the other dogs play. We have cared for dogs up to 18 years of age. “I know that my dogs have lived longer because of the exercise, the fresh air and the mental stimulation here at Top Dog”, says Jean.
