Top Dog Country Club, the “Un-Kennel”, is the first and only facility of its kind; providing the very best in dog boarding, daycare and grooming services.  It is a “club med”-style vacation for dogs, with the hospitality and services of a Marriott hotel.  Top Dog has set a new standard for boarding facilities worldwide, and has been featured on Discovery Channel’s Animal Planet, on NBC’s Today Show, and in The New York Times, as well as other local and national media.

The Top Dog difference is an un-matched facility; and a level of professionalism and service, combined with a passion for dogs that you will not find anywhere.  Our actions demonstrate every day, that at Top Dog, “It’s All About The Dogs”.  They are our first priority in the decisions we make.

Staff members are carefully selected for their love for, and patience with, dogs.  The staff to dog ratio is 1 staff for every 5-8 dogs.  There is a manager in the building at all times.  The owner lives on site and the security system is monitored in her home.  Staff specialties include professional groomers, a veterinary technician, and trainer.

Top Dog Country Club is owned and operated by Jean Beuning, a former vice president and 14-year veteran with Marriott Hotels.  “I guess you could say that I was in the business of ‘boarding people’ for 14 years . . . now I am spending my life taking care of dogs.”  About leaving my big corporate title, position and salary, “I cannot think of any greater success than to take my business expertise, combine it with my passion in life . . . caring for dogs . . . and make that my life’s work."
